Baldwin. #1 apple in the U.S. in the early 1900s • Discovered by Colonel Baldwin from MA in the 1700s • Crisp, juicy, spicy character • Great keeper! • Pies and cider.

Arkansas Black. Discovered in Benton County, Arkansas, around 1870 • Juicy, firm, with a notable aroma • Great for cider and cooking • Gain flavor in storage.

Yellow Newtown Pippin. George Washington's favorite apple. • Sweet and crisp • Great for pies.

Northern Spy. Discovered in the 1800s near Canandaigua, New York • Juicy and sweetly tart • High Vitamin C content • Excellent pie and baking apple.

Rome. Discovered along the Ohio River in the 1820s • Crisp, firm, mildly tart • Great eating and baking • Long shelf life!
